Drink at The Red Lion Inn

Together with our two wine merchants we have put together an extensive wine list with prices and tastes to suit every occasion.

Featuring classic French wines from Burgundy & the Rhone valley & fruity full bodied wines from the new world. Almost all of them are available by the glass!!
We have an excellent range of liqueurs, and over a dozen single malt whiskies including the fantastic range of glenrothes whiskies from the speyside region. Cognac is a region very close to our hearts in particularly remy martin and we stock almost all their cognacs including Louis XIII (a mear snip at £40 a shot!)

Beer drinkers are well looked after too with cask ales from theakston’s (Yorkshire) including old peculiar ( which we also add to our famous lion pie) and local wye valley brewery (Hertfordshire) and continental style lagers such as Stella Artois, Becks Vier, Coors fine light and classics Carling and Fosters…truly a free house I’m sure you’d agree.

Our Drinking Areas

Join the locals in the bar lounge, where you can enjoy a game of pool or bar football, or stick a few bob in the fruit machine (happy holidays) which lead to our oak framed smoking shelter and beautiful beer garden with kids playarea.

Alternatively relax in the more subdued surroundings of our restaurants bar, wherever you choose your sure to enjoy some of our liquid refreshment.

For Families and Children

Children are more than welcome in the bar areas, as long as they behave! A pool table, racing cars and table football are bound to keep them happy, if not then we're sure the play area and the large garden will keep them amused for hours while you relax in the sunshine.
