Drink at The Red Lion Inn
Together with our two wine merchants we have put together an extensive wine list with prices and tastes to suit every occasion.
To compliment your meal we have a choice of fine wines, from classic French to wines from the New World. Almost all available by the glass!
We have an excellent range of liquers and over a dozen single malt whiskies. We also stock almost all Remy Martin cognacs including Louis X111.
Our Drinking Areas
The bar area has a welcoming friendly atmosphere, and a traditional country feel with its comfortable seating and oak beamed interior.
Beer drinkers are well looked after. We have cask ales from Theakstons (Yorkshire) including Old Peculiar, (which we add to our famous lion pie!) Locally is the Wye valley Brewery (Herefordshire) and Enville Ales (just down the road!) Should you prefer more continental style lagers we have a good selection available, along with the classic Fosters and Carling.
For Families and Children
Adjoining the bar, is a games area to keep both the adults and children entertained! In here you can challenge others to a game of darts, table football or a game of pool. Or maybe try your luck on one of the games machines! You can also enjoy many big sporting games and events on the big screen!
Leading from the games area is an oak framed seated smoking area, which leads into a large beer garden, perfect for sunny days with benches and large umbrellas. There is also a children’s play area, featuring a rope bridge and slides.
